Today is Election Day! It is a very important and historic day. I know all of you will be watching the election coverage on t.v., and watching the numbers come in! Captioned movies at the theater DUE Wed., Oct. 22, 2008
Deaf people enjoy watching movies as much as hearing people! There are no captioned movies offered in the Scranton area. Do you think we should request that local movie theaters offer captioned movies? Why is it important that Deaf people have access to captioned movies? Explain your thoughts and opinions.

Sports at schools for the Deaf DUE Wed., Sept. 24, 2008
Deaf students at schools for the Deaf all over the United States are involved in sports. They play soccer, volleyball, football, basketball, track, etc. Most schools for the Deaf play against other schools for the Deaf. Do you feel that sports programs at schools are important? Do you feel that SSSD should play against other schools for the Deaf? How would you feel if our sports program was dropped or if all of the games against other schools for the Deaf were cancelled?
